Ammonium Sulphate Nitrate
Ammonium Sulphate Nitrate (ASN) is the most efficient fertilizer in modern agriculture, which produces the highest yields. Designed to provide targeted nutrition and high yields, it combines in an ideal ratio (3:1) the extended availability Ammoniacal (ΝΗ4) and rapid effect of Nitric Nitrogen (ΝΟ3) with the multiple agricultural benefits of Sulphur.
- Nitric Nitrogen (NO3) is rapidly absorbed by the cereal, increases the production of tillers during the tillering stage and contribute to create robust plant during the culm elongation stage.
- Ammoniacal Nitrogen (NH4) stimulates root growth and is a direct source of Nitrogen for crop, as cereals absorb large amounts of Ammoniacal Nitrogen in the early stages of growth, while a part of this convert to Nitric Nitrogen covering the nutrition of plants to later stages of development.
- Sulphur (S) is one of the most important nutrients for cereals. It is rapidly taken up and promotes the growth of the root system and the intake of Phosphorus and Microelements. It increases the production of protein and has a decisive effect on the productivity of the crop and on the qualitative characteristics of the production.
The elemental composition of Ammonium Sulphate Nitrate, makes it one of the most suitable fertilizers that can be treated with nitrification inhibitor.

- ● Nitric Nitrogen (NO3) is rapidly absorbed by the cereal, increases the production of tillers during the tillering stage and contribute to create robust plant during the culm elongation stage.
- ● Ammoniacal Nitrogen (NH4) stimulates root growth and is a direct source of Nitrogen for crop, as cereals absorb large amounts of Ammoniacal Nitrogen in the early stages of growth, while a part of this convert to Nitric Nitrogen covering the nutrition of plants to later stages of development.

It increases the production of protein and has a decisive effect on the productivity of the crop and on the qualitative characteristics of the production.
Stabilized Ammonium Sulphate Nitrate are top-quality top-dressing fertilizers for the cereals, which combine the fast action of Nitric Nitrogen and durability of “stabilized” Ammoniacal Nitrogen in the same granule, having the unique ability to meet the immediate and long-term needs of crops.
● The high content of Sulphur, except to directly supply to crops, protects Nitrogen from vaporization and increases its availability to the plants.
● The long-lasting Ammoniacal Nitrogen forms strong bonds with the soil and minimizes losses due to leaching, ensuring maximum utilization of the fertilizer by the crop.
Through this mechanism, as opposed to the large vaporization and leaching of simple urea, the stabilized Ammonium Sulphate Nitrate (NutrActive 27N, NutrActive 26N Boro-plus) minimize losses, both to the atmosphere and to the subsoil.
Either simple (Fertammon) or stabilized (NutrActive) form, Ammonium Sulphate Nitrate is the most effective Nitrogen fertilizer for the top-dressing fertilization of cereals, during the tillering stage up to the first stages of culm elongation.
They adequately supply plants with both necessary forms of Nitrogen, achieve complete nutrition of the crop according to its requirements, maximize the efficiency of fertilization and significantly increase the yields and the quality of the production. In terms of application time, the stabilized Ammonium Sulphate Nitrate (NutrActive) give their maximum crop potential when applied before and throughout the tillering stage, while the use of simple Ammonium Sulphate Nitrate (Fertammon), depending on crop growth, is recommended from the beginning of tillering up to the first stages of the culm elongation.
Advantages
● Specialized ratio (1:3) of fast Nitric and extend Ammoniacal Nitrogen for maximum absorption by the crops.
● Integration of nitrification inhibitor in each granule during fertilizer production process, for guaranteed Nitrogen stabilization.
● Continuous Nitric and extended stabilized Ammoniacal Nitrogen supply of the crop for long period.
● Increase of yield due to the regular nutrition of the plants with both forms of Nitrogen.
● Protect Nitrogen in the soil and minimize its losses due to leaching and vaporization.
● Adapt Nitrogen supply to the plants according to their specific requirements at the time.
● Flexibility regarding the time of fertilizing and guaranteed Nitrogen supply in all weather conditions.
● Rich in Sulfur – Better utilization of Nitrogen and increased uptake of Phosphorus and Trace Elements
● Additional supply of Iron and Zinc to crops.
● Suitable for all crops and all soil types.
● Excellent granulometry, which ensures a uniform dispersion of nutrients in the field.
